On learning how to blog…

I am venturing into a new world called blogging.  I am actively reading other blogs and now have begun posting about running on my own blog.

It all began when I decided to study Multi-Media at UBC. I learned about writing for the web and this was interesting right from the start as I enjoy writing.  I enjoy blogging as I have the chance to reflect and input my own ideas.

As an intern at M20 productions, I’m learning lots about blogging and new media. As always, the Internet is the best place to start your search.

Here are some blogging tips I’ve uncovered:

1. Write about subjects you’re passionate about.

2. Attend events and bring your camera to take pics for your blog.

3. Choosing the right key words so the reader will be able to find your article much easier.

3. Also, keep your paragraphs short.  Otherwise, if the article is too long you will lose readers as there is too much information to read.

4. Link to other sites.

5. Also join a blog network and/or social network.

6. Feedback on your ideas. You can always improve your writing.

7. Share relevant information about your topics.

8. Think about incorporating audio or video to enhance your site.

9. Link in your e-mail signature or a link to your other blog sites

10.Have fun. Keep writing. Don’t forget to spell check.

Here are some of the original articles I read about blogging.
